Monday fasting
WeeklyThe Prophet ﷺ was asked about fasting on Monday. He highlighted the significance of this day as the day of his birth and the day revelation was first sent down to him.
Hadith
سُئِلَ عَنْ صَوْمِ يَوْمِ الاِثْنَيْنِ قَالَ ذَاكَ يَوْمٌ وُلِدْتُ فِيهِ وَيَوْمٌ بُعِثْتُ أَوْ أُنْزِلَ عَلَىَّ فِيهِ
He was asked about fasting on Monday, whereupon he said: "That is the day on which I was born and on which I was commissioned, or revelation was sent to me."
Reward
Deeds are presented to Allah on Monday and Thursday.
