Ayyam is built with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. You do not need to create an account or provide any personal data to use the app. Analytics data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across apps or websites.
You can disable all analytics in Settings at any time. The app works exactly the same either way. When you disable analytics, all data collection stops immediately.
Ayyam uses a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand how the app is used. This service processes anonymous data on our behalf. It does not collect personally identifiable information, does not use device fingerprinting, and does not create user profiles.
Each event includes non-identifying context only: whether premium is active, app language and region, whether notifications are enabled, time since install, app version, and whether location services are active (as a yes/no value only, never coordinates). This data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to any individual user.
If you grant location access, Ayyam uses your coordinates only on your device to calculate accurate prayer times. Your coordinates are cached locally and are never sent to any server. The only location-related information that leaves your device is a yes/no indicator of whether location services are active, included with anonymous analytics events.
Ayyam does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All your preferences, fasting logs, and settings are stored locally on your device.
Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to one year and then automatically deleted. Since no personal information is collected, previously sent anonymous events cannot be linked to any individual, even after you disable analytics.
Ayyam uses a privacy-respecting analytics service that processes anonymous data on our behalf, as described above. In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. No data is sold, shared with advertisers, or used for tracking.
Premium features are available through a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.
Ayyam does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require any personal data from any user regardless of age.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
